I'm not usually one to praise the conservative columnist Andrew Sullivan, but his op-ed piece in the New York Times today is about the random coincidence of the 50th anniversary of the Brown v. Board of Education decision and the first day of legal marriages for gays and lesbians in the United States.

Anyway, the real fun in the gay marriage news today is over at Human Rights Campaign, where they have a running slide show of couples who were married today in Massachussets. It's beautiful to see--you'll be astounded at how normal, average, and completely non-subversive these people are. These are the "scary" faces of gay marriage. Follow the link, make a donation.
