This is a message aimed at my friends and family who reside in the City of New York.

A couple people I spoke with tonight wondered aloud if our group of friends divided up in tonight's Democratic primary for NYC Mayor in the same way the general electorate divided up. So if you are a registered Democrat in the City of New York, let me ask, and please let you answer in the comments below:

1. Did you vote in the primary?
2. If yes, for whom did you cast your vote for Mayor?
3. If there is a runoff between Ferrer and Weiner, will you vote in the runoff?
4. If there is a runoff between Ferrer and Weiner, for whom will you vote?

As always, comments above and beyond what's being asked are of course welcome of course. (And if you do not want to make your personal and private votes public, please feel free to answer only #s 1 and 3--or just email the answers to #s 2 and 4 and you will have my complete confidence and discretion....).
