Despite saying over and over that I was not having a Xmas tree this year, I got one!

It's a sweet tree--kind of skinny and kind of sad. But sweet, pretty, and well-tended.

By the way, if you're wondering, I usually walk to work anyway, and the transit strike is only really affecting how I plan to get to the airport tomorrow. If you need to ask, well, you don't really know me: I STAND WITH THE TRANSIT WORKERS AND HOPE THEY GET EVERYTHING THEY WANT OUT OF THE CRIMINALLY CORRUPT METROPOLITAN TRANSIT AUTHORITY. And one more thing: DEAR MAYOR BLOOMBERG: PLEASE SHUT UP. Thanks.
